Buyer Traffic Optimization (BTO) is Index Exchange (Index)'s traffic curation solution that helps to optimize traffic that is sent to DSPs by creating a more efficient supply path using historical buying behavior and performance data. Based on your QPSClosed Queries Per Second (QPS). The number of bid requests a DSP processes per second. Also known as impressions per second. limit, we send you the most suitable and best performing traffic. This allows you to focus on inventory that your buyers are more likely to engage with while respecting your QPS limits.

How it works

Using machine learning technology, BTO analyzes the performance of the supply sent to you based on historical win rates, bid rates, total impressions for user data, and other dimensions such as device type or OS.

Within your QPS limit, each bid requestClosed An OpenRTB request that is sent from a supply-side platform (SSP) or ad exchange to the DSP requesting a bid response for potential impressions. A bid request contains information about the impression that allows the DSP to decide whether to bid on the impression. is evaluated using our available criteria and Index prioritizes the bid requests that you will most likely bid on and win in an auction.
