Political guidelines
Here at Index Exchange ("Index"), we take brand safety seriously, which is why all political content undergoes a thorough review by our Exchange Quality team. Using our Ad quality, we work to ensure that political advertisements are either neutral or reasonably inclined towards a specific party, organization, or movement.
The following information provides further details into the subtleties of political advertisement through Index Exchange.
Prohibited content
Smear campaigns
A smear campaign is an effort to damage or call into question someone's reputation by propagating negative propaganda. Disproportionate weight in favor of or against an idea or topic, usually in a way that is closed-minded, prejudicial, or unfair.
Generally inappropriate or offensive
Including hate speech towards activists, government officials, or organizations, as well as any attempts to besmirch movements or individuals associated with them.
