DSPs
Last Updated: February 12, 2026

If you are a DSP looking to integrate with Index Exchange (Index), you must develop a bidding implementation based on the OpenRTB standard and make sure that you meet real-time bidding requirements. Currently, Index supports real-time bidding using the IAB's OpenRTB 2.6 Specification.

Make sure that you meet the following minimum technical requirements for receiving bid requests and sending bid responses:

You must pass all required parameters in bid responses including Content-Length and make sure that you have seat.bid support. To learn more about required fields, see List of supported OpenRTB bid response fields for DSPs.

You must respond to bid requests within a set time frame (usually less than 100 ms). DSPs who don't respond before this time may be subject to timeouts. DSPs who have a high volume of timeouts at any given time may be subject to throttling.
