Use Google's Privacy Sandbox APIs with Index
Google's Privacy Sandbox APIs can be used to display relevant content and ads without the use of third-party cookies or other tracking mechanisms. Index Exchange (Index) supports the following Privacy Sandbox APIs:
Privacy Sandbox API | Description |
---|---|
Protected Audience API |
Info: Starting in June 2025, Index is pausing support for the Protected Audience API. After this date, any Protected Audience fields included in bid responses to Index will no longer be processed for on-device auctions. The Protected Audience API is an in-browser API available on Chrome for banner ads. It allows you to create and target interest groups without relying on third-party cookies. For more information about how to send Protected Audience API bid responses, see How to send Protected Audience fields in bid responses to Index. |
Topics API |
The Topics API is an interest-based advertising API available on Chrome for banner ads, which allows topics information to be sent in bid requests. For more information on how you receive topics information in bid requests, see How Index sends Privacy Sandbox topics in bid requests. |
