View available streaming TV inventory (Alpha)

Note: The Streaming TV Streaming TV (STV). Video content that is shown across any device with an internet connection, for example a Connected TV (CTV). dashboard is currently in alpha.

The Streaming TV dashboard in the Index UI The Index UI at app.indexexchange.com that allows you to manage integration settings, such as inventory, campaign, and deal settings. is a reporting dashboard tool that you can use to discover impression opportunities for streaming TV (STV Streaming TV (STV). Video content that is shown across any device with an internet connection, for example a Connected TV (CTV).) inventory available through Index Exchange (Index). This dashboard will only display STV inventory that matches the following criteria:

To access and share your Streaming TV dashboard, you can follow these steps:

  1. Enter your email address and password to log in to the Index UI at app.indexexchange.com.

  2. If you have more than one account, select the account that you want to access.

  3. Go to Inventory DiscoveryStreaming TV to see impression opportunities for all STV inventory available through Index. Refer to the table below for more information on the available tiles and descriptions of what is contained in each tile:

    Volume by Content Genre

    Impression opportunities available for STV inventory, broken down by content genre. For more information, see the content_genre field in our Data dictionary.

    Volume by Content Rating

    Impression opportunities available for STV inventory, broken down by content rating. For more information, see the content_rating field in our Data dictionary.

    Volume by Ad Duration

    Impression opportunities available for STV inventory, broken down by the ad slot The location on a publisher's website where an advertisement is served. Also known as inventory. duration allowance for the video ad, in seconds.

    Volume by Partners

    Impression opportunities available for STV inventory, broken down by the publisher The owner of a website or app where advertisements are served.'s Index partner ID.

    Volume by Domain

    Impression opportunities available for STV inventory, broken down by domain. A domain is extracted from the URL of the bid request An OpenRTB request that is sent from a supply-side platform (SSP) or ad exchange to the DSP requesting a bid response for potential impressions. A bid request contains information about the impression that allows the DSP to decide whether to bid on the impression..

    Note: You can only filter at the top-level domain, but the data displayed includes any available inventory under the top-level domain. For example, to see data for blog.website.com or website.com/path, select website.com in the filter.

    Volume by App Bundle

    Impression opportunities available for STV inventory, broken down by app bundle. An app bundle is a platform-specific mobile application ID.

  4. To view specific information in the Streaming TV dashboard, you can filter the results using any of the following criteria:

    Filtering Option Description

    Date Range

    All data is displayed in the local time zone and currency set in your account settings. For more information, see View and edit your account settings in the Index UI. The possible values are:

    • Last 7 days: Includes data from the previous seven days, ending at 12:00 AM today.
    • Last 30 days: Includes data from the previous 30 days, ending at 12:00 AM on the current day. This does not include data for the current day.

    Domain

    The domain used in the bid request.

    Note: In-app traffic will not have an associated domain. The domain for in-app traffic will be n/a.

    Content Genre

    The genre that best describes the video content, as provided by the publisher. For example, Comedy or Drama.

    Content Rating

    The content rating of the video content where the ad was played, as provided by the publisher. The content rating provides guidance about the appropriate audience for the impression.

    Note: Currently, the list only includes U.S. ratings.

    Content Livestream

    The streaming options for the content. The possible values are:

    • Live Content
    • Not Live

    App Bundle

    A platform-specific mobile application ID.

    Note: Only applicable for in-app traffic.

    Device Type

    The type of device from which the impression originated. The possible values are:

    Ad Duration

    The ad slot duration allowance for the video ad, in seconds.

  5. Optionally, if you want to download the filtered dashboard, click the Dashboard actions icon in the top-right and click Download. You can also click the Tile actions icon at in the top-right of each tile to download only the information from that tile.
