This page provides any information that you need from Index Exchange (Index) to help you prepare for the changes coming to Apple's App Store Connect.
Starting December 8, 2020, Apple has announced that your new app and app update submissions are required to identify all data collected by you or your third-party partners, such as Index. Index collects and may store the following data as part of the transaction of ad opportunities through our technology:
- IP addresses: These may be used to geolocate a device. IP addresses are stored without the last octet, which prevents Index from identifying the precise location of a user.
- Geolocation: Latitude and longitude are used to share the location of a device. They are stored by Index with no more than two decimal places. This means the coordinates stored by Index are imprecise and cannot directly identify where a user resides.
- Unique IDs: These include mobile advertising IDs, device IDs, cookie IDs and people-based IDs. They are shared and stored to improve a user’s advertising experience online.
We may additionally receive and share other data from our Integration Partners which we may pass downstream.
Note: If you have any questions about data collection at Index, please contact your Index Representative or email privacy@indexexchange.com.
