GPP
The Global Privacy Platform (GPP) is an IAB Tech Lab framework for signaling user privacy, consent, and choice that integrates all of the privacy frameworks recognized by the IAB. This allows advertisers to use a single point of reference instead of having to support each individual framework. For more information about GPP see the IAB's Global Privacy Platform page.
How Index Exchange supports GPP
Index passes the OpenRTB regs.gpp
and regs.gpp_sid
fields in bid requests, in accordance with the IAB's OpenRTB specification. For more information, see the IAB's OpenRTB specification.
- The
gpp
field contains the GPP string to communicate user elected privacy choices. - The
gpp_sid
field contains the active GPP section IDs for the bid request. For a current list of section IDs recognized by the GPP framework, see the IAB's Section Information page.
For more information about the gpp
and gpp_sid
fields in bid requests, see the Regulations object in List of supported OpenRTB bid request fields for sellers.
