Reset your IX App password
You can reset a forgotten password or update the password for the IX App.
Before you begin: Make sure that you have an email address associated with your Index Exchange (IX) account. This is configured at the time of integration. If you did not configure your email address, contact your IX Representative.
Click Forgot password.
Enter the email address associated with your Index Exchange (IX) account.
- Click Submit.
You will receive an email that includes a URL.
Click the URL in the email that allows you to reset your password.
The Create your password page opens that includes the reset token in the Token field.
Note: The reset token is valid for one hour from the time that you initiated the request. If more than one hour has passed and you still need to reset your password, follow steps 2 to 4 above to receive a new reset token.
In the New Password and the Confirm New Password fields, enter your new password.
The passwords must contain all of the following:
- Between 8 and 128 characters
- At least one letter
- At least one number
- At least one special character (?&%$#@=+!~,)
Click Submit New Password.
If you still cannot log in to the IX App, contact your IX Representative.
