Block a buyer

You can block any agency, agency trading desk A buyer in the RTB exchange. Trading desks integrate with DSPs to participate in the auctions that occur each time an impression is served. A single trading desk may be connected to one or more DSPs. The pairing of a single trading desk with a single DSP represents an advertiser user in our system., and anyone who owns a seat within a DSP Demand-Side Platform (DSP). A software platform that automates bidding decisions in real-time and efficiently connects buyers and audiences through an ad exchange or SSP. Also known as a buy-side platform.. All buyers are placed in the Allowed list by default, but you can choose to block any buyers that you don’t want to request demand from.

  1. Enter your email address and password to log in to the Index UI at app.indexexchange.com.

  2. If you have more than one account, select the account that you want to access.

  3. Go to Campaigns & BlocksBlocking Controls.

  4. In the Site ID Site IDs are unique Index-specific identifiers that represent specific inventory and attributes based on our publishers needs. Site IDs are created in the Index UI and these IDs are used by publishers to make real-time bid requests. drop-down list, select the site that you want to apply the blocks to.
  5. In the Campaign A collection of multiple ads in different formats. Blocking Options section, expand Buyer.
  6. Search for the buyer that you want to block.

  7. On the row corresponding to the buyer, click the green checkmark icon under the Status column to change the green checkmark to a red X.

  8. Click Update.

After you finish: Buyers can appear in both the Buyer and Advertiser Brand lists. If required, block the buyer in the advertiser brand section.
