Set up key values targeting in deals

Publishers can apply key values targeting directly in deals when creating a deal using inventory groups or deal sections in the Index UI.

Before you begin: Set up custom targeting with key values.

  1. Depending on the new deal form you are using when creating a new deal, do one of the following:
  2. In the URL targeting (optional) field (deal form using inventory groups) or URL field (deal section form), specify which key values you intend to target. For example, if you shared the user’s interests, you would have passed the keywords parameter and shared specific keywords related to their interests, such as “FIFA”. In the field, you would specify, u_keywords=*fifa*. Contact your Index Representative to help you format the URL based on the key values you selected to share when setting up custom targeting.
