Troubleshoot and optimize your deals

To help you optimize your private marketplace activity, you can run tests to help identify whether a deal is sending bid requests, receiving bid responses, and also to verify that it is winning impressions in your ad server.

  1. Enter your email address and password to log in to the IX App at

    • Make sure that you have an email address associated with your IX account. This is configured at the time of integration. If you did not configure your email address, contact your IX Representative.

    • If you are a first time user, you will need to reset your password. For more information, see Reset your IX App password.
  2. In the IX App, go to Private Market > Deals.

  3. To diagnose a deal from the Deals page screen, click in the Actions column, click .

  4. In the Diagnose Deal section, click any of the following tests to view the diagnostics:

    Test Description
    Deal setup Runs a group of deal setup tests to make sure that there are no problems with how you set up the deal.
    DSP Helps you to understand what could be wrong with the deal that might prevent a buyer (demand-side platform) bidding on it.
    Campaigns Lists all the campaigns that are bidding on the deal, highlighting which ones are not able to spend due to a particular problem. This list can be empty if no campaigns were found because the buyer is not bidding.
    GAM Takes insights from your Google Ad Manager for deals that have key-value pairs on dedicated line items. These scans only work for deals that are placed on dedicated line items with key-value pairs.
