If you have uploaded an audience file to Index's Audience Manager system, you can add or remove match key values as required.
Note: For full data file refreshes, we recommend limiting updates to once a month. For adding new values, once a week is suggested. If you have questions about these guidelines, reach out to your Index Representative.

Using your audience ID, identify which segment data file you want to modify. For more information on these file formats, see Sending segment files to Index using SFTP.

Perform one of the following tasks:
Task Steps Add values to the segment
Specify the values that you want to add and keep the file name the same. For example, if the data file name is my_audience_file.gz, make sure to keep the name as my_audience_file.gz.
Delete values from the segment
Specify the values that you want to delete and append the name of the data file with _delete. For example, if the data file name is my_audience_file.gz, rename it to my_audience_file_delete.gz.

Send the files to Index using SFTP in the same way that you send new or updated files.
