Send a Matched Audience file from LiveRamp to Index
Buyers who use Matched Audiences™ Matched Audiences are IDs where data partners or publishers upload a list of IDs for a particular Universal ID provider and match a deal ID against that audience segment. for direct or platform deals must send their audience customer relationship management (CRM) file to Index Exchange (Index) using the LiveRamp Connect platform.
Before you begin:
- Upload a Matched Audience file into LiveRamp.
- To send audience data to Index, you must create a new Destination Account in the LiveRamp Connect platform. For instructions, see Activate a New Destination Account in the LiveRamp Knowledge Base.
- When creating your Destination Account, from the Choose an Integration page, select Index Exchange First-Party Data An advertiser's first-party data might include things like customers' email addresses, purchase histories and behaviors demonstrated across its site. A publisher's first-party data usually comprises behavioral information collected from around its properties (cookie information), which can then be used to target ads on behalf of advertisers..
- On the Configure Index Exchange Destination Account page, provide the following information:
- In the Advertiser Account Name field, specify a name that describes your LiveRamp account. This field will be visible on Index's back-end platform for identification and troubleshooting.
- In the Index Account ID field, specify the Index Account ID that you will send data to. This ID will be provided by your Index Representative.
- Enter a unique and memorable name for the Destination Account Name.
Note: This Index Account ID is a different ID than the six-digit Index Publisher The owner of a website or app where advertisements are served. ID that you may be familiar with.
- After you have created the Destination Account, from the My Data page, you can distribute the segments to Index. For instructions on distributing segments, see Distribute Data to a Destination Account on the LiveRamp Knowledge Base.
Note: For each seat that you select, LiveRamp will send multiple files with unique segment IDs and the designated Audience Name.
