Last Updated: February 12, 2026

For each deal that you have created, you can click on the deal to see a Details tab that provides an overview on the deal settings and an Activity tab that provides a quick, high-level understanding of how a deal is performing. You can use this information to troubleshoot an under-performing deal or non-performing deal. For more information about the Activity tab, see View how a specific deal is performing.

My deal is active but is not generating any bid requests

Your deal is active but shows Fail for the Bid Requests test on the deal's Activity tab.

  • Check the following on the Details tab:

    • The deal has not passed its end date.

    • If the start date is today and you want to see today’s data, select Today in the Date Range drop-down. Keep in mind there may be up to a five-hour delay between when an event occurs and when the reporting data is finalized.

    • The deal targeting is valid and not blocked by conflicting settings. For example, targeting banner inventory while also applying STV-only criteria (such as content genre or rating) would prevent the deal from activating.

  • If using a fixed price auction, make sure that the CPM fee is lower than the fixed price. If the CPM fee is higher than the fixed price, the deal ID won’t transact.

If you checked the solutions above and the deal is still not generating bid requests, contact your Index Representative.

My deal is active but isn't receiving any bid responses

Your deal is active and shows Pass for the Bid Requests test, but shows Fail for the DSP Bidding test on the deal's Activity tab.

Check the following on the Details tab and with the DSP or buyer:

  • The deal has been activated with the buyer.

  • There is no additional targeting applied in the DSP that is preventing it from bidding.

  • The buyer seat is correct. Confirm that the seat ID in the Index UI matches the one in the DSP's settings.

  • The deal in the DSP is targeting the correct deal ID. Confirm the deal ID in the Index UI is the one targeted in the DSP's settings.

If you checked the solutions above and the deal is still not receiving bid responses, contact your Index Representative.

My deal is active, receives bid responses, but is not generating any impressions

Your deal is active and shows Pass for the Bid Requests test, shows Pass for the DSP Bidding test, but shows Fail for the Impressions test on the deal's Activity tab.

Check the following columns in the Deal & Campaign Activity table below the Troubleshooting Tests:

  • Bid Chosen – If you see a value greater than zero in the Bid Chosen column, bids are being submitted to the auction but are not winning. Contact your Index Representative to understand the cause.

  • Bid Blocked – This value shows the total number of blocked bids. Refer to the Deal Activity by Publisher table to understand which Media Owners are causing the blocks. Contact your Index Representative if you require help with understanding reasons for the blocks.

  • Bid Below Floor – This value shows the number of bids below the floor specified for the deal. Check and confirm that the deal price that you specified in the Index UI matches the deal brief.
