Block a content group

By default, all types of content are placed in the Allowed list but you can prevent specific content types from being displayed in a creative by adding the associated content group to the blocked list.

  1. Enter your email address and password to log in to the Index UI at If you don’t have login credentials, see Log in to the Index UI.

  2. If you have more than one account, select the account that you want to access.

  3. Go to Blocks & CampaignsBlocking Controls.

  4. In the Site ID drop-down list, select the site that you want to apply the blocks to.
  5. In the Campaign Blocking Options section, expand Content Groups.
  6. In the (Allowed) list, select the content that you want to block. For definitions of each content group, see Content group definitions.
  7. Click the arrow button at the top of the (Allowed) list to move the selected content group to the (Blocked) list.
  8. Click Save Changes.
