Set up Google Open Bidding for native
Publishers selling native ad inventory can integrate with Index Exchange (Index) using Google Open Bidding to access Index’s native demand. Native ads are designed with text, images, or videos as provided by the marketer. The ads are optimized by the media owner for the location where they are served. Index supports native ads on web and mobile app.
Before you begin:
- You must be integrated with Index. For more information about the integration process, see Enable Index as a demand partner in Google Open Bidding.
- If you do not have access to Open Bidding with Google, contact your Google account manager.
- You must have a Google Ad Manager account.
Complete the following steps in your Google Ad Manager account:

Create your native ad following the steps in the Traffic native ads in Google Ad Manager topic in Google Ad Manager Help.

If you have not yet created a yield group for native ad inventory, you must create one and add Index as a yield partner to specify the inventory that you want to sell. For more information about yield groups, see the Create and manage yield groups topic in Google Ad Manager Help.
Google recommends having one yield group per inventory format.
