View how a specific deal is performing
You can use the Deal A private auction that allows publishers to offer specific inventory directly to selected buyers identified by a deal ID. Terms are negotiated and are agreed upon before the auction occurs. Activity Tab in the Index UI The Index UI at app.indexexchange.com that allows you to manage integration settings, such as inventory, campaign, and deal settings. to get a quick, high-level understanding of how a deal is performing and use this information to troubleshoot an under-performing deal.

Enter your email address and password to log in to the Index UI at app.indexexchange.com.

If you have more than one account, select the account that you want to access.
- Go to Private Market > Deals.

In the list of your deals, click on the Deal ID you want to view activity for.
- Click on the ACTIVITY tab.

In the Date range drop-down list, select one of the following options:
Note: By default, all reporting data is displayed in your local time zone and currency.
Option Description Today
Includes data from 12:00 AM today up to the time that the report is run, with a 2-6 hour delay. For example, a report that is run at 8:00 AM would include roughly six hours of data, given the 2-6 hour delay.
Yesterday
Includes data from the previous day, ending at 12:00 AM.
Last 7 days
Includes data from the previous seven days, ending at 12:00 AM on the day the report is run. This report does not include data for the day the report runs.
Last 30 days
Includes data from the previous 30 days, ending at 12:00 AM on the day the report is run. This report does not include data for the day the report runs.
Last 3 months
Includes data from the previous three full calendar months, ending on the last day of the previous month. For example, a report that is run on August 8 will include data from May 1 to July 31.
Last week
Includes data from the previous full week, between the last full Monday at 12:00 AM to Sunday at 11:59 PM.
Last month
Includes data from the previous full calendar month, ending on the last day of the previous month. For example, a report that is run on August 8 will include data from July 1 to July 31.
Week to date
Includes data from the current week, starting on Monday and ending on the day the report runs.
Month to date
Includes data from the current month, starting on the first day of the month and ending on the day the report runs.

Troubleshooting Test: Target Matching
Check the number of ad opportunities that have matched the targeting settings for a deal. The possible target matching levels are:

Check if any bid requests are being sent to DSPs for this deal. The possible test results are:

Pass: More than one bid request An OpenRTB request that is sent from a supply-side platform (SSP) or ad exchange to the DSP requesting a bid response for potential impressions. Optionally, in the Campaign Activity table, click on a specific campaign ID to open Campaign manager. You can use Campaign manager to view additional information about a campaign, or to allow or block a specific site ID from serving on it. Example scenario: Low spend on a deal.

How to identify the problem: The target matching is low, which indicates that there is a problem with the deal's targeting settings. A low target match rate means there are less than 100 ad opportunities that match your deal targeting settings.

How to fix the problem: The issue is either that there is a lack of supply for the specific targeting settings selected, or that the settings were configured incorrectly. To fix the problem, perform an audit of the targeting settings for the deal and either fix any configuration errors or try increasing the scope of the deal's targeting settings.
