View reporting data for Privacy Sandbox

Info: Starting in June 2025, Index is pausing support for the Protected Audience API. After this date, you will no longer receive Protected Audience API demand from Index, even if your inventory is configured to be eligible for it. As a result, the following fields will no longer generate new data:

  • Protected Audience-specific data for cma_label
  • protected_audience_status
  • protected web

Index Exchange (Index) provides reporting tools that you can use to gather performance data and make informed decisions about Privacy Sandbox. You can use Reports in the Index UI or the Reporting API to create and manage custom reports that include the following Privacy Sandbox-specific fields:

  • cma_label: The CMA (Competition and Markets Authority) label associated with the request. A CMA label is used to identify which Chrome-facilitated testing mode the device sending the request is associated with.

  • topic_id: The ID of the interest group topic associated with the topic_name that was included in the ad request. For example, if the topic_name = Pets & Animals/Pets/Dogs, the topic_id = 268.
  • topic_name: The Topics API interest group topic name that was included in the ad request. For example, Pets & Animals/Pets/Dogs.

  • topic_version_name: The Topics API topic taxonomy version for the topic_id and topic_name that was sent in the ad request. For example, taxonomy_v2.

  • protected_audience_status: Specifies how Index responded to an incoming impression opportunity that is considered eligible for an on-device Protected Audience auction.

  • protected web: A browser ad that is associated with the Protected Audience API.
