Create a targeting preset

A targeting preset is a predefined list of site IDsClosed Site IDs are unique Index-specific identifiers that represent specific inventory and attributes based on our media owners needs. Site IDs are created in the Index UI and these IDs are used by media owners to make real-time bid requests. that can quickly be applied to a dealClosed A private auction that allows media owners to offer specific inventory directly to selected buyers identified by a deal ID. Terms are negotiated and are agreed upon before the auction occurs. like a template. Unlike with inventory groups, if a change is made to the preset, this update does not get cascaded to all deals that you created using the preset. For more information about the differences between inventory groups and targeting presets, see Managing targeting values.

  1. Enter your email address and password to log in to the Index UI at app.indexexchange.com.

  2. If you have more than one account, select the account that you want to access.

  3. Go to Private Market > Targeting Management.
  4. Click the CREATE button and select Targeting Preset.
  5. In the Name field, enter a name that describes the preset.
  6. Select the site IDs that you want to include in the preset.
  7. Click CREATE.

After you finish: Apply the preset when creating or editing deals.
