Managing targeting values

To make creating or editing deals more efficient and consistent, you can create inventory groups or targeting presets that can be applied to multiple deals. Inventory groups and targeting presets differ as follows:

Inventory group

Use this option when you want to create a centrally managed list of site IDsClosed Site IDs are unique Index-specific identifiers that represent specific inventory and attributes based on our media owners needs. Site IDs are created in the Index UI and these IDs are used by media owners to make real-time bid requests. that you can apply to multiple deals. If a change is made to the inventory group, this change is cascaded to all deals that target this inventory group. Targeting preset

Use this option when you want to create a list of site IDs that can quickly be applied to a dealClosed A private auction that allows media owners to offer specific inventory directly to selected buyers identified by a deal ID. Terms are negotiated and are agreed upon before the auction occurs. like a template. If a change is made to the preset, this update does NOT get cascaded to all deals that you created using the preset. For more information about how to create a targeting preset, see Create a targeting preset.
