View reporting data for Deals with Marketplaces (Beta)
You can create a report to get granular data on a variety of measures for your Deals with Marketplaces, such as Marketplace-based ad spend, total impressions, and total revenue.
Deals with Marketplaces don't transact on their own. Instead, they are used as a targeting option inside of Marketplace Packages, which transact on the exchange. As a result, Deals with Marketplaces only have data on impressions and do not have bid data, while a Marketplace Package targeting a Deal A private auction that allows publishers to offer specific inventory directly to selected buyers identified by a deal ID. Terms are negotiated and are agreed upon before the auction occurs. with Marketplaces does have bid data. For example, you can create a report to see bid timeouts and blocked bids for a Marketplace Package that targeted a Deal with Marketplaces. Note: It's important to distinguish between the two deal IDs that can be included in the report:
- Marketplace Targeted Deal ID: This is the deal ID for the Deal with Marketplaces. To see spend on your Deals with Marketplaces, include this ID in your report.
- Deal ID: This is the deal ID of the Marketplace Package that targeted your Deal with Marketplaces. This deal ID was created by a Marketplace Partner The owner of an Index Marketplace that curates their media solutions within the Index Marketplace and packages these offerings to bring incremental demand to publishers. For example, a Marketplace partner could be a media agency, a data provider, or retail media network.. To see which Marketplace Packages are targeting your Deal with Marketplaces, include this ID in your report.

Enter your email address and password to log in to the Index UI The Index UI at app.indexexchange.com that allows you to manage integration settings, such as inventory, campaign, and deal settings. at app.indexexchange.com.

If you have more than one account, select the account that you want to access.

Go to Reporting > Reports.

Click CREATE REPORT.

In the Custom Report section, click Create a custom report.

In the Date range drop-down list, select the date range that you would like for this report. For more information about the date range options, see Create a custom report.

In the Reporting time zone and currency drop-down list, select the setting that you would like for this report. For more information about the time zone and currency options, see Create a custom report.

In the Dimensions section, select each dimension that you would like to include in your report. To see data broken out by your Deals with Marketplaces that were targeted by a Marketplace Package, select the following options:

Deal ID

Marketplace Targeted Deal ID

Marketplace Targeted Deal Name

In the Measures section, select each measure that you would like to include. For example, you can select Marketplace CPM Cost Per Thousand (CPM). A pricing structure for buying impressions and is the cost of serving an advertisement 1,000 times. Also known as Cost Per Mille (where M represents 1,000 in Roman numerals) or Cents Per Mille. as a measure and Country as a dimension to see the Marketplace CPM per country. The following Marketplace measures are available:

After finalizing the details for your report, choose one of the following options:
Option Description Run
Choose this option if you want to run the report without saving it first. Once you run the report, you can choose one of the following options:

Edit. You can edit the current report before deciding whether to run, save & run, or save the edited report.

Save. You can save the current report. For instructions on saving a report, see step 11 below.

Download. You can download the current report. For more information about downloading reports, see Download a saved report.

Choose this option if you want to save and run the report. For instructions on saving your report, see step 11 below.

Optionally, you can save and schedule the automated delivery of your report. To save your report, complete the following steps:

In the Name field, enter a name for your report.

Optionally, schedule your saved report by choosing your Delivery Schedule, Delivery frequency, Delivery date range, and Recipient emails. For more information about available scheduling options, see Create a custom report.

If you are saving and running your report, click SAVE & RUN. If you are saving your report, click SAVE.

Note: Specific dimensions and measures are automatically disabled when they cannot be used with another dimension or measure that you have already selected. Only one dimension or measure is required for the report to be valid. For more information about available reporting fields, see Available fields.
