Preview the video creatives associated with a campaign (Beta)

Note: This topic explains how to preview video creatives. For information on previewing banner creatives, see Preview the banner creatives associated with a campaign.

You can use the Video Review tab in the Index UI The Index UI at app.indexexchange.com that allows you to manage integration settings, such as inventory, campaign, and deal settings. to preview the video creatives that are associated with a campaign and to see more details about each video creative A digital ad made available in various creative types, defined by their size in pixels such as 300x250px..

  1. Enter your email address and password to log in to the Index UI at app.indexexchange.com.

  2. If you have more than one account, select the account that you want to access.

  3. Go to Campaigns & BlocksCampaigns.

  4. On the Campaigns dashboard, you can open the campaign that you want to preview the video creatives for in any of the following ways:
    • On the Campaigns dashboard, you can find all the campaigns that are currently bidding and spending on your inventory, and sort by the available filters and bid metrics. Click on the campaign ID associated with the video creatives you would like to view. For more information about what you can view on the dashboard, see View how a campaign is performing.
    • If you are searching for a specific campaign ID, on the top-right corner of the Campaigns dashboard page, click the More Actions icon, click Look up campaign, and then enter the campaign ID associated with the video creatives you would like to view.
  5. Click the Video Review tab to see video creatives associated with this campaign. On this page, you can preview the associated video creatives for this campaign and view the internal ad ID and DSP Demand-Side Platform (DSP). A software platform that automates bidding decisions in real-time and efficiently connects buyers and audiences through an ad exchange or SSP. Also known as a buy-side platform. CRID (CRID sent by the DSP) for each video creative. By default, six video creatives are displayed and you can click Load More if there are additional video creatives for this advertiser's campaign.
  6. Optionally, you can use the Search field to search for a video creative by internal ad ID or DSP CRID.
  7. Click View Details to see more information about a video creative. The following information is available for video creatives:

    Technical Specs

    Internal Ad ID

    The creative ID provided by Index.

    DSP CRID (External Ad ID)

    The creative ID (CRID) provided by the DSP.

    Video Duration

    The length of the video creative, in seconds.

    VAST Video ad-serving template (VAST). A communication standard between ad servers and video players in XML-format that describes the video player's expected behavior. Version

    The VAST version that the ad markup is compliant with, declared on the VAST XML ad markup.

    Wrappers

    The number of wrapper tags on the VAST XML ad markup.

      A sample VAST XML ad markup for this video creative. On the top right of this section, click Copy XML to copy the VAST XML ad markup to your clipboard.

    Media Files

    Average Bitrate

    The average bitrate for the media file.

    MIME Type

    The media type for the file container. Popular MIME types include, but are not limited to video/mp4, video/webm, and video/ogg.

    Width

    The native width of the video file, in pixels.

    Height

    The native height of the video file, in pixels.

    Delivery

    The method being used to transfer the video creative from the server to the client. The delivery options are progressive for progressive download protocols (such as HTTP) or streaming for streaming protocols.

    Framework

    The API framework needed to execute an interactive media file. For video creatives, a popular framework is VPAID.

    URL

    The URL of the media file associated with the creative. Click View to open a new tab to preview the media file.

    Note: If a URL is not provided by the DSP, you can't preview the media file or each individual file size.

    Campaign Details - Buyer Details

    Brand

    The brand name of the product or service being advertised.

    Adomain Advertiser domain (adomain). An identifier for a brand or advertiser, as provided in an OpenRTB bid response.

    The advertising domain of the advertiser associated with the campaign.

    Buyer

    The name of the buyer or agency associated with the bid.

    DSP

    The DSP associated with a campaign.

    Campaign Details - Ad Classifications

    Industry

    The industry associated with the video creative. For more information about advertiser industries, see Industry categories.

    Content Groups

    The content groups associated with the video creative. For more information about content groups, see Content group definitions.

    Creative Types

    The creative types associated with the video creative. If a creative does not have an associated creative type A classification of ads based on behavior. Describes the properties of the advertisement creative. Available formats include: standard, expandable, overlay/voken, in-banner video, survey, audio, and video., it will be classified as "Standard". For more information about creative types, see Creative type definitions.
